Just thought you should know I have a computron again. Thanks to mom. (I know, it's surprising how someone can totally not be a part of your life then drop over $1000 for a computer). 

Some kids at UNC want me to help shoot their No H8 Campaign! This will be tough with no computer of my own to edit with, but I think I can get some good shots. The weather here is freezing and the bus trip to get there is long, but it's Sunday and I'm trying to make new friends. Of course I'll be hiding behind my lens all afternoon. I can't seem to stop myself lately. It's so nice to get a cup of tea or coffee and just sit and learn. I dig it. I miss you all.

i just wanted you all to know, and to shed a tear for me. it's my screen. it's dead. i didn't drop it or spill anything on it. i always leave it at home and take extra good care of it. it just stopped working one morning. sadness.

The nearest zoo to me is in Greensboro (about 60 miles away). The train ticket there is $8 one-way, and the entry fee is $8. It's also a science center? I don't really know what this complex is, but I will find out on Saturday. The last time I went to the zoo was with Mark when I had red hair and braces >.< Of course, this will be nothing compared to The World Famous San Diego Zoo and it doesn't have olifants but I'm so so so so excited! I hate being in Durham sometimes. Although the weather here is just like spring in San Diego. I'm shocked how long the good weather has lasted. I'm a happy kid, riding my bike all over the place. I'm going to find a ridiculous fanny pack, and pretend to be a French tourist the whole day. I'm gonna take pictures of the giant anteater, and feed the lorikeets. Isn't it a bad sign when I find myself just itching to escape this place? I cannot tell you what relief different zip codes offer me. I feel transitory. I want more out of my life. I feel like I'm being prevented, somehow, from living up to my potential. I'm also leaning towards Lit for grad school. I wanna be a kooky lit prof and give symposium lectures all over the world.

This semester, I'm working on three languages. French, Spanish, and C++. Very excite!

At JFK, with free wifi, score.I downloaded the Rolling Stones Magazines 500 Greatest Song List. I've been waiting all summer to listen to it, since all the songs are in English. It is epic. Lots of old rock tunes my mom raised me on. It's 5:00pm here right now, my flight boards in an hour. I'll be in San Diego around 10pm, I think. Hopefully my flight will be on time, since JFK is the devil. Let's make this week an epic one, okay boys? I'm gonna need extra doses of san diego goodness and memories to get me through the next semester. :) And I can't believe Chris is moving. I don't even want to think about it. Let's pretend it's not happening. Ok? Donc, j'ai un question pour vous.Je vais commencer avec l'atelier pour la photo ici à Middlebury. Notre projet va être une collection des photos sur l'école français et notre petite ville, Middlebury. À la fin du été, nous allons avoir une exhibition digitial pour toute l'école française. Il faut avoir de la musique pour ça aussi. J'ai dit à la groupe qui j'ai fait un projet similar à Duke et j'ai utilisé la musique de mes chers amis qui habitent en Californie. Alors, mon question c'est si vous voulez créer une pièce de musique pour notre presentation. Je ne sais pas les detaills (pas encore), mais la seul restriction c'est de ne pas avoir aucun mot d'anglais. Dit moi si ça vous interressez. :) Je sais que c'est une grande chose de demander, et sinon, ce n'est pas grave. Peut-être nous pouvons utiliser mostpleasing (l'un qui j'ai utilisé pour mon presentation à Duke). :Dje vous aime!
