Yesterday was a terrible day.
I had to open at 4:30 am, or so it feels, and it has been quite a while since I have opened. I survived my shift, but it was the last half hour where I started to loose my mind a little and take random eye breaks. Eventually, or, 3 hours after seeing mark, (MARK- I totally could have gotten you a free drink, if only I had seen you before you ordered) I was free to go to school.
3D art consists of: Sipping my americano, cutting paper, sudoku-ing, joking about airplane crashes and stuff. I'm glad we could joke about that stuff.
I had to deal with lots of cars in a parking lot, and cars stopping at the same time as me next to the stop sign. I really hate that.
Issue # 30 in the day, I was all out of OREOS!!
UHH I always need my granny smith apples, OREOS, pita and hummus. These phases I go through.
Drawing: I couldn't even draw a building right, the paper was too big, and I really don't like to draw outside. Tomorrow will be a better drawing day, but probably because I know I will see JEFF later.
I am proud of myself because I was able to take a nap. I really like naps if I fall asleep, otherwise I feel pathetic when I try to sleep, when I cant. Naps also make me feel like I'm sick or something, but I think it's just due to the heat from wearing blankets when I don't need to. But I have talked about this before, I think, so I won't go any further. I will complain some more:
I was woken up by voices. Not ghosts or anything cool like that (it was actually christopher reeves, from my closet) I REALLY wanted to laugh, because I was trying my best to feel normal again, instead of the morose state, which was probably due the nap and waking up early.
I thought about watching Mean Girls, but I realized I should save it for when I get Jeff to watch it with me. Jeff, It's better than The House Bunny, that was terrible.
BUT I watched Mystery Science Theater 3000: "Werewolf" to get some good laughs.
I need more mystery science theater!
And then big brother joe made me stop laughing and watch some serious things about money that I wasn't fully paying attention to because I was making this:

Paper planes (which are actually made out of paper) flying in an out of the picture plane.
oh and this was what I made for the previous project, it's an umbrella that looks like your walking with a rain over your head...like eeyore or something.

Me and my family took a new family portrait, to replace a really outdated one, and it was quite an interesting experience. The lady was really gross, and I had to make her retake a few because she had no sense of composition. AND she was so white but she talked super super ghetto, so that was really entertaining.

those two pictures are very nice and your Paper Planes project looks awesome, are you going to hang it up? Is it hangable?

1) Phases are good, I love going through silly random phases.
2) Mystery Science Theater 3000 is so great, Mark and I watch the MST3000 the movie recently.
3) I really like the umbrella one!

I vote that we should watch Mystery Science Theater 3000 together sometimes. God, it reminds me of my childhood.
Also, REALLY LOVE that shot of the umbrella! Glad to see it in it's completion.
And don't worry about your nap-sick thing, because I TOTALLY get that way too. I don't know why, but it feels so disgusting.

Jeff, Thank you! The planes are able to be hung, but to present it to the class it will just be sitting on a desk. I do like how it looks when it is vertical though.
And as I was making this, I thought about the pictures of the 9/11 cake you sent me a while back.
Chris, thank you too, and yes for phases! I was just thinking about how I like to see the difference in every semester, how I spend breaks and such.
Oh the movie, I haven't seen it, but I do know it is shorter than all of the episodes, very strange.

Gina, I'm glad you agree!
It's the feverish feeling I do not like, even though it can be prevented.
And I am in complete agreement with MST3000 nights.

Dangit, I should have waited to order. Oh well, maybe next time.
The planes crashing is really cool, it reminds me of a design these two men did as a part of their Fringe Project collaboration. I highly suggest everyone checking their stuff out, some great art and designs.

Thanks for the tip mark!
And for my project to remind you of theirs is very cool, so thank you.
