Is it totally weird that I've been having dreams about the Coachella line-up?
It is strange because I don't really care about it, in fact, every year I hope the lineup is terrible so I won't be tempted to go. But every year I have my "Okay, I will go if..." list, which probably doesn't mean too much considering that whole list was fulfilled last year and I still didn't go. Oops.

This year, if the lineup looks anything like it does when I sleep, I will totally go. Last night's dream had some random Hardcore band sitting up top with Muse (large font), Mew (mid-range font), Radiohead (a little after-note blurb), Phoenix (large font) and Daft Punk (small font) under them. I promise right now, to the whole world, that I will go if Muse, Radiohead or Jay-z plays. I will also strongly debate it if Kanye, Mew or Daft Punk plays.
What if Sunny Day Real Estate headlines, with Mineral right below them? And then The Appleseed Cast followed by The Mercury Program and Darude with Red House Painters!!!!!!!!!!!!! DEEDEEYEAHEYEAH.

ANYWAYS, those are my issues. Muse and Jay-Z–everything else is icing on the cake.

But I do ask that no hardcore or metal bands play.
Joe and I saw Between the Buried and Me over the weekend and I am still sore. It was so incredibly intense.
I think we both forgot what those types of concerts are like... It is completely different from Mew, everyone much bigger and smellier and meaner. We had to put on our murder faces and channel our Satan summoning hands while we were in the pit.

Speaking of Between the Buried and Me,  I blew my brand-new ultra-nice headphones listening to White Walls. Apparently they weren't "ultra-nice." Hopefully my brand-new ultra-nice take suffer the same fate...

I could work for one company, it would probably be Apple. What would yours be?

HEEEEEEEEEEEEEY, I'm kind of freaking out because I'm not sure if they're going to sell single-day passes this year. Why would they do this to me? I don't understand.

G n' K, we will discuss in detail wednesday night, finally!

I bet muse and mew are going to be amazing! I still haven't seen Muse's live DVD, just one youtube clip, but that short clip was gooooood.

Mmm, I hear Muse puts on a freakingcrazy show. We'll just have to see. Hey, did anyone else notice that all three headliners have either a Z or a Z sound in their names? Such unity.

It is super tough.
I am pretty sure that Mark (and Joe and Chris) will agree with me when I say that Mew will put on the best show at Coachella.

...with Jay-Z and T. Yorke close behind, of course.

What a glorious, glorious line-up. I can't decide if I would rather go Friday or Saturday. I mean, I would much rather see Jay-Z than Muse (although both would be great) but Mew and MGMT are on Saturday. Friday: Love Passion Pit and Benny Benassi and Echo and the Bunnymen would be fun, too. Are you gentlement going all three days?

I woke up a happy man, Mark.
And the official list is much easier to manage than the one we were looking at last night... Are you still in for the three day?

And Annie, it looks like there are plenty other bands to bring the Indian to Coachella. I have no fear...

You are in luck sir.

The official lineup.

I can't believe Gorillaz got a headline.

ISSUE: SDRE attracts normal people, coachella requires Indians.
