My parents scheduled to get our house cleaned this coming week, a new experience for all of us, and who knows how it will end. We have only had the occasional professional organizer for the office, which is still a disaster, so who knows if this new experience will even work. I'm totally up for having other people clean up the messes I make, but when it comes to my room, I do not want others to clean it. I'm not sure how this whole thing goes, but I remember my cousin Jessica (I know you're reading this) would complain about misplaced items (looong time ago) so that's not too cool.
I feel like I am a bit of a hoarder, not as crazy as the people who aren't aware of the dead animals living in their house (good thing I hate cats), but I have a mild case. I feel like my problem is partially due to art projects. For example:
_Old starbucks cards
_posters
_boxes
_wire
and normal things like
_clothes from long ago
_ fortunes
_ and school stuff.
BUT Is it a hoarding problem if you know you will put the stuff to use, just not right away?
Then again, justifying my reason for keeping my poster of The Used, by saying part of it may be a cool background for something, the question remains unanswerable.
So pre cleaning room victories consisted of: one trash bag full of trash, and another one filled with old clothes (mostly pajamas.) I still could not part with my hand crafted death cab and jimmy eat world shirts from Early high school though, so they remain safe with my other band tees/ hail mary tees.
But really, my room feels even more messy than when I started, what a let down.
Bringing it back to the whole house cleaning situation, will she use our stereo and raid our cabinets for food while we are away? If it was my job, I totally would do that.. free food!
Tonight I went to my cousins house for dinner, after listening to DMX with my brother, and had a good time. I watched The Pregnancy Pact on lifetime with my cousin Megan, and my Nana, who was way interested because it took place at her old high school, but I think she's just into teen pregnancy.
Oh it felt like old times, watching lifetime, such good quality television.
Gina, did you watch it? I was going to text you that it was on, but I thought it would be lame texting you that the new lifetime movie is on, kind of like how I am talking about it now.

What you need to a big tupperware container to put all your "stuff" into, which can then be stashed in the garage.
Anndd, my cleaning lady totally uses my stereo, television and food at her own will. I can't say I enjoy it, though...

Sadly, I did not watch know of the lifetime pregnancy marathon. You should text me always, especially about stupid things like lifetime. Those are the moments that make my day.

To add to the collection: Teen Mom, Secret Life, 16 and Pregnant and Mom at Sixteen.
How different can all of these shows really be?

Well my favorite is the widely-acclaimed Lifetime drama, Too Young to Be A Dad; it spins the whole idea of teen pregnancy around. Why not see what happens when a BOY is the responsible one after getting a girl knocked up, they provocatively propose.
Paul Dano at his finest.

Boys truly have it harder than prego-girls, it is a struggle that MUST be publicized. Life's hard.
Oh Annie, I have a present for you... or someone.

1.That would give me an excuse to go to the container store, so I like that idea. I just hope my giant container filled with stuff will not be neglected if I do put it in the garage.
2. Jeff, I think we need to sit back and watch lifetime, abcfamily (ehhh no) and mtv to compare and contrast. But we must change it when Jersey Shore comes on.
3. Gina, Too Young to Be A Dad was on yesterday too!!
Next time something amazing comes on, I will be sure to let you know.
4. YES! I'm excited to hand this over to that someone. I hope this plan works, otherwise all that work would go to waste
