No H8

Posted on February 07, 2010
Some kids at UNC want me to help shoot their No H8 Campaign!

This will be tough with no computer of my own to edit with, but I think I can get some good shots. The weather here is freezing and the bus trip to get there is long, but it's Sunday and I'm trying to make new friends. Of course I'll be hiding behind my lens all afternoon.

I'm also reading several great books right now:
La infancĂa de la inmigracion
Mama Lola
Even Cowgirls Get the Blues
Avengers of the New World
The Idea of Latin America

How often do y'all read? I can't seem to stop myself lately. It's so nice to get a cup of tea or coffee and just sit and learn. I dig it. I miss you all.

Haha, if someone didn't know Mark is as smart as he is, people would think his book list was about the alphabet...

I miss you too Summie.

I read every night. Usually around 3 am. It tends to be technology based or scientific journals though. I would read more books if all of mine weren't trapped in a box somewhere that's a pain in the ass to get to. Some books I've been meaning to buy and read are:

An Imaginary Tale: The Story of i
Euler: The Master of Us All
E: The Story of a Number

Yo!

I read everyday, though it mostly includes blogs on the webz and stuff. Outside of that, though, I have been enjoying Naomi Klien's No Logo for quite awhile...

I am currently reading a book called "The Pleasure of Finding Things Out" by Richard Feynman. It is an amazing book for anyone who likes science. I would consider this man on of the most interesting men in the world.
