Beach day?

Woke up, really wanting waffles, but laziness took over and so I decided waffles were a no go. But it was a good morning because I got to watch half of Gilmore Girls, while drinking my coffee. If I can catch Gilmore Girls, it's going to be a good day.

Today I only had to work a four hour shift, back at my store, and it felt good to be back there because I had been working a few days at a store in mission valley, conveniently located next to maggie moo's.

You bet I had ice cream on my break!

Sitting outside with my ice cream cone, drinking coffee, ipod-ing is probably the greatest feeling while at work. And it's probably a good thing I don't work at that one, all my $$ would go to MM.

oh yeah, I signed up for foursquare because I was curious and half bored, but I don't really use it.

I took not so little brother to the beach because I wanted some company.

Loud music, sun roof, beach drive.

Yeah it's not crazy, just mellow psychadellic, but I want more "kids"and "time to pretend". The new album isn't bad or anything, it's just a matter of taste. I wish I could say what song on their old album sounds the most like, congratulations, but I can't remember the other songs besides those three. I think surfer rock is a good description of it, as stereogum or pitchfork said, plus a bit of a 50's swing sound. Which song did you hear? There are a few I like, unfortunately "Brian Eno" isn't one of them..

As for the morning benders, yeah anything he gets his hands on is going to be good!

I was pretty let down by the new MGMT. Or their single, at least. It was supposed to be super ~*crazy*~ and "psychedelic" but I thought it was pretty mellow. Oh well, what do you expect from a much praised about band with only 3 songs that are actually good.

But the morning benders do it well. As they should, considering who produced them...
