I honestly wish I could be more eloquent about this. I am so proud of how far America has come in the past century, and I feel incredibly lucky to have witnessed such change and history. I think in some ways, watching and listening to Barack Obama is what it must have felt like to live in the days of JFK. I often joke with Chris that I will believe anything Obama says, taking it for automatic truth- that is how inspiring he is. Even more exciting will be to see how Obama will change the course of this country and implement his policies. I very much look forward to his presidency.
I am usually not one to get overly emotional, particularly about politics, but let me say that I definitely had tears in my eyes last night during Obama's speech...amazing....
