After flying though explosions in the sky, I landed in San Francisco, where Jeff called me at the perfect time to make sure I landed alright. I have been excited about going back, that I shrugged off the idea that my mom has no sense of direction, and that I would be left finding our way around the city. My mom put full trust in me from the beginning, after taking the air train to the Bart (Jeff she didn't think it was right, even after I showed her) even when I thought I was lost. During the trip I have felt extremely useful, using my map skills. Yes, girls can read maps. According to one customer at sea world, "typical girl, can't read a map" (about herself, terrible) I was there for two days, which as you guys know, goes extremely fast. As thankful as I am that my parents paid for the tickets, hotel, and food, I wanted to separate and explore on my own, without having to drag my mother everywhere and listen to the comments she makes. I did try to balance my ipod listening with my daughterly duties of conversing.
Things we did: O Go to our hotel O Got some, not that great, burritos. O Took the muni to SFSU O Explored SFSU, specifically the fine arts building O Yerba Buena
O Beard Papa's Yeah, it was as amazing as it looks. O Went to the embarcadero O Walk forever (Brighter than San Jose) O Italian food That night we turned in early. It was too early for me, so I went on the quest for free wifi, but my mom was worried so she came with me. O Bomb hotel breakfast, but no waffles. O CalTrain to SJSU O Walked around the too quiet and clean San Jose and campus. O Looked inside the art building this time, which was open, but I could not see in any of the computer classrooms, just the drawing and ceramic rooms. I just want to see a row of macs, that is all I want. O Running back to the station and walking back to the hotel then driving the airport. I had planned to listen to so much BTBAM on the way home, but I ended up talking to the person I was sitting next to the whole time. He was reading a total girl book, judging from the butterflies on the top and bottom corners of the pages, and I had to find out why. Anyway it's kind of sad walking past places that hold such great memories, when the current moment isn't as great as what it once was. But, I hope to soon go back to San Francisco/ hope to get accepted somewhere. I didn't even make it to SFMoMa!

ANNIE your trip sounds like an interesting time and I cannot wait to hear about it in person, and do not think that I can wait until Wednesday!

"O! Italian food"
"O! Beard Papa's"
You sound like Walt Whitman or something!
But anyways, I am glad you had a good time. Surely if you get in, you will be going back much more often...
