eight-balls in corners without pool sticks

School has officially started and I am super jealous that all of my friends get to go back. So jealous, in fact, that I almost registered for classes at Community College; I guess because I thought that it would somehow impress Radiohead. LIST OF CLASSES THAT I WANTED TO TAKE BUT NOT ENOUGH TO ACTUALLY TAKE:
  • Modern World History
  • Plane Surveying (This class actually doesn't involve looking at airplanes)
  • Advanced Web Development
  • History of Western Art
  • Modern Art
  • Beginning Badminton

I actually had pretty high-hopes for Badminton, I guess I thought it would be something like...

but in actuality, it would probably be more of this...

Oh well. Either way, I wish you all luck in this new semester (which probably isn't so new for Joe). And Mark, I have a Monkey Bread in my freezer for those inevitable long nights of homework.

Speaking of Radiohead, I was relieved when I saw their terrible set-list from Sunday night, as I had thought that they would play the fresh material they are recording right now. And for those of you who don't know, I came REALLLYYYY close to spending 700 dollars on tickets but thankfully Joe talked me out of it (once again, I am sorry you had to see me like that).

Speaking of Joe, this is one thing that makes him so awesome:
(Transcript of MySpace message with Kaydie circa 2005)

jeff also almost died...
dont you think its amazing how,
when we saw him on thursday,
he was in the hospital,
he couldnt talk right,
he couldnt eat much,
he was drooling on himself,
and he got lightheaded from walking a little bit,
and on saturday,
he was totally back to normal.
talking regularly,
eating regularly,
and going freakin crazy on the air fx?

dang man,
jeff is an amazing man.
i gotta tell him that.

Oh it looks so poetic in that typeface, so poetic that I won't even point out your excessive comma usage. =)

Speaking of school, as I was digging through my old hard-drive, I found the jackpot of all things that are good. I may be the only one who thinks this junk is interesting but I will post little a little sumthinsumthin in each blog post 4u...
For this edition, you get "The Life and Times of J. Mickz," a presentation I did on myself to my Effective Speaking class. Looking back, it seems more like a desperate plea for attention and friends. But either way, it is complete with Fast and the Furious pics and musical flow charts. Needless to say, I killed that speech. Cheeecckkkk it out.

Before I go pass out to The Cosby Show, I would like to tell you about the two best nights on television, in no particular order. I usually don't watch a whole lot of TV outside of Nick at Night but you must trust me, as I think Annie and I have found the bright spots...

1) Thursdays
10:00 - Ace of Cakes
11:00 - Seinfeld
12:00 BBQ Pitmasters

Has anyone else see BBQ Pitmasters? I imagine that it probably disgusts Annie but I think it is absolutely awesome. The show documents teams of BBQrs who compete in national competitions, which Myron Mixon always dominates. For viewers who aren't totally drawn in my this B.A. cook, the show features mouth-watering footage of pulled pork and ribs. mmmmmmmm.

 B) Mondays
9:00 - American Pickers
10:00 - Pawn Stars
11:00 - Seinfeld

This new show, American Pickers, is so cool; it is exactly what I wanted Hoarders to be... A bunch of old people showing off their awesome collections of rust. Watch it!

Joe, have you seen the show My Life with Liz? If not, I think you would really like it... even apart from the obvious reason!

Okay, lastly, a picture that I took last week of the Fashion Valley parking lot, which was flooded with 5+ feet of water, which you can't see because the picture is too dark.

This is great example of terrible city planning and I would know because I lied about being a city planner for about 2 years... Ask Joe about it.

You didn't take badminton because tennis is better, and hellogoodbye agrees.

Oh, I would take a Badminton class way before I would consider tennis.

Actually, I did take Tennis at Cuyamaca when I was about 10 or so; that is where I got my Wii Sports skills.

You're pro with lessons at age ten.
I'm around 550, with lessons AND previously being on the tennis team.
Not cool.
I need to play more wii.
