But put these five English music mavericks together on stage, or in a
recording studio, and magic happens. Together, they achieve a sonic
symbiosis – if not outright musical alchemy – that enables them to soar
repeatedly.
That's precisely what Radiohead did at its Chula Vista concert
Wednesday, which drew 19,692 fans to cheer on art-rock's most popular
band since Pink Floyd.
This has comfirmed my feelings about Radiohead since the begining, that other people feel the same way I do. Music with artistic meaning, the most powerful form of communication, symbolism, and emotion on earth, this is it. What I see in Pink Floyd is a foresight into progessive rock greater than anyone was able to achieve; a reveoluonary breakthrough in artistic rock. Now I have come to realize that the only other band to achieve this on a dynamic, wide-spread scale is Radiohead. I love music so much, espcially these bands because of their darkness and lullabies of alienation. They reach for certian human characteristics that is deep inside us, unable to be explained by anyone else.
I could go on forever but I just going to go to sleep and think about what a great time it is to be alive.
Jeff when did you add the flower background? It subtle and really nice.
