My biggest worldly concern is people not aspiring to be something greater. I know everyone wants to be a certain type of person but It scares me that people don't give serious contemplation or work towards that goal. I mean if your not taking the time to pick the right friends, to learn how to play that instrument you have always wanted to play, gain enough social skills and understanding to learn that if people drive drunk, people are gonna get killed needlessly, and if you don't take the time to develop an understanding and question the world you live in and how to make it better, and are willing to go crazy and express yourself about it, then your not going to truly live. The way I see it is that there is so much bullshit; people sue each other over things they don't understand, we overlook important values that go into relationships that are defined by love and instead become selfish, we constantly compete and play cutthroat and don't think of what really matters. People don't get involved anymore; less than 1% of the male population is an Eagle Scout. As cliche or corny as it may sound, I have probably learned most of my moral code I live by today from that time of my life and its sad to see less and less people aspiring to something like that. I just think if people put in a little more common sense and love into their lives many of the concerns and problems in this world would be solved EASILY.
