I have been researching all the propositions so I can bring my sample ballot tomorrow. Can anyone explain to me prop. 9 I really don't quiet understand it, I don't think is a necessity.
Also I don't know about prop. 12. I am not one for spending needless money like on prop1A except for environmental ones that will potentially, in theory, pay for itself. However I always support the benefit war veterans.
What does everyone else think about these propositions (excluding prop. 8)

Joe and Chris, don't feel bad about leaving something blank. There is a good chance that I will leave fire and school board members blank because I am certainly not someone who should be making those decisions, seeing how I know nothing about fires...

i don't know, i think discussion on these props would really help me out. it's difficult to decide on how i'm gonna vote because the arguments they give you are so starkly negative or positive. and in a lot of cases, they give totally differing information, like one says it will give money to this or that, and the other argument says that it won't end up giving money to it. talking to other people about this and seeing what they think could help me figure out what exactly is going on so i can make a better decision.
as for the props, i still don't know about 9, but i'm voting yes on 12, cause my dad is a veteran.

ugh, I wish I could help you out there but I haven't taken the time to talk to really talk to anyone about that. I may leave most of it blank, sadly.

Chris, of course no one can explain this to you. You of all people know that...
