Things to accomplish...

Going off the post suggestion for the day, here's a list of things I would like to accomplish in 2009:


- Get a haircut
- Get an A in my Intro to Java class
         - an A in my Intermediate C++ class
         - a B in my Linear Algebra class
         - a B in my English class
- Boost my transferring GPA up to a 3.0
- Apply and get accepted to UCSD for winter 2010
- Get in better shape
         - start running at least couple times a week
         - sit ups
         - weight lifting
- Take more photos
- Complete at least 1 painting a month, maybe 2
- Learn how to paint with oils
- Get out and enjoy life more instead of being inside all the time
- Learn Java
         - PHP
         - C++
         - C#
         - bash
         - whatever is in the file of things to learn that Jeff gives me
- Be able to at least write simple scripts in:
         - Perl
         - ActionScript
         - Python
         - JavaScript
         - Objective-c
         - Cocoa
         - Objective-j
         - Cappuccino
- Be in a band again
- Pay off some debt
- Go to the snow (if there ever is a good amount around here)
- Go surfing

- WALK TO NEW YORK (sometime in my lifetime)

... (I will add to this as I get more ideas and cross them out as they are completed)

Stuff to add: Strong OOP, REST, SOAP, Drupal (or other web frameworks like Django or Chyrp) and the Flex/AIR combo. I am really pushing for the Obj-C, though. I think we could make really sweet iPhone apps...
Oh yeah, recursive functions and Big O notation, as seen in O(log n)
