I've decided that, at least for the summer and beginning this Thursday, one night per week I am going to cook a good meal for myself and I will never cook the same meal twice. And I'm not talking about heating up pre-made crap from the store. I'd like to try and do as much as possible from scratch. Now all I need is a list of ideas to choose from each week. Let me know if you have any ideas. I'm going to keep a list of them in here and cross them off as I do them. And let me know if you want to join in too. It would be much more fun to have other people there.
I think I'll begin with things on here. Sam makes cooking look pretty easy.

For some reason my parents have a Food and Wine magazine lying on the coffee table and I spent all yesterday drooling over the pictures and recipes. I would love to join in on some of these cooking nights as that's one of my summer goals as well.
Then I can see you cat.

Did you just call me a cat?
I'll keep you updated on cooking nights. I'm planning on doing it on Thursday nights, that way I have the beginning of the week to decide and prepare.

What we should do is each come up with a dish we want and we can have a feast at your house, kinda like St. Patty's day but more often.

I am sure the recipe website will come in handy for this. It actually gives me motivation to start/finish it...

Annie: I'll look into the coconut lime rice, it sounds like it would be good. Hopefully there will be a chance for you to see Mew while she's still small.
Chris: Sounds good to me. The more the merrier.
Jeff: Yea you need to get that goin so we can start filling it with recipes.
