Lazy Day

Today I did absolutely nothing for most of the day. I wanted to get out of my house and go to the beach, or go swimming, or do something but every time I got up I was lured back to sleep by an unfinished dream or had the energy sucked out of me by the heat. It was a beautiful day and I am kinda disappointed I missed out on so much of it. However, laying around and doing nothing all day felt great.

While I was asleep I had two of the worst nightmares I've ever had. They ranked up there with Attack of the Warewolf Army and T-rex Temper Tantrum. I was frightened awake from the first one and luckily didn't fall back into it when I returned to sleep. Unfortunately I returned to sleep to find myself in another nightmare. This one felt so real that I could have sworn I was awake. I even woke up from that nightmare to find myself still in it, which had my mind convinced it was real. When I woke up for real I was so convinced that I would find myself in the dream still that I repeated all my actions from the dream to see if they were true. At the first sign of inconsistency I realized it didn't happen and was entirely relieved. It was not a good morning. The dreams that followed later in the day went much better.

After I slept all day Jeff, Chris, Joe and I played some baseball at Rancho Elementary. We all hit home runs, Chris knocked one out of the park.

Edit: I forgot to mention I did get to go swimming today for 5 mins in Jeff's pool and it felt amazing. I don't understand why we don't use it more often.

AND I just set my new personal record for a Rubik's cube at 3 minutes and 15 seconds.

You should sleep with a damp tee shirt on, then have a fan on in your direction, it feels so good, but strange.
Whenever I have one of those dreams, I feel extremely dumb because I cannot tell dreams from reality. If I had my thought process at the time written on a sheet of paper, it would be hilarious.
And, your day doesn't sound like a waste, you got to play baseball..

I don't know about sleeping in a damp (Mark & Chris, I totally just typed dampy on accident) t-shirt... it sounds kind of disgusting and terribly uncomfortable...

I know, I was going to change it but then I didn't feel it. It would be better to stand in one, that way the sheets don't get wet, from your shirt anyway..

Yea, it wasn't a complete waste of the day, but mostly. Sleeping in a damp t-shirt just sounds gross and would probably remind me of sleeping in a pool of my own sweat. I prefer to just take a cold shower, not dry off afterward, then stand in front of a fan.
