Colorado.
After 18 days in a row of either
/making coffee/
/painting faces/
/making more coffee/
/painting more faces/
I got to relax and go on a much needed vacation to Fort Collins and Denver, Colorado. Although I would have rather visited San Francisco, or finally take that trip to see what San Jose is like, I enjoyed going to another state.
THINGS WORTH REMEMBERING
_ Watching Justin Timberlake's Futuresex/Loveshow in a baller yukon while driving on gunclub st.
_ Coors Brewery: Help bringing families together from smelling hops to sampling glasses of beer.
_ Not getting completely soaked while white water rafting. Also, being served Fajitas and PB&J in the middle of a rafting trip. Fajitas?
_ Being a witness to how much my brothers eat for dinner. I don't know which would be more filling, a grand slam with a side of 5 eggs, or a burger with a side of pancakes.
_ Stomach ache from laughing too hard at family dinner
_ Gran Torno
_ Going to the gym with my little brother who I no longer know.
_ Writing/ reading in the dimly lit hotel lobby due to an inability to sleep.
_ Going to a smoke/music store [home of the perfect ICP poster for Jeff Mickos] as a family, where my mother was exposed to another world.
_ Witnessing a minor Denver STORM while watching Taken while chatting with JEFF MICKLOS after registering for new semester.
_ Horseback riding, but not really.
_ROCKY MOUNTAIN NATIONAL PARK because it was cold and windy and it looked like Iceland. This was easily my favorite part of the vacation, and the most simple.

_ Visited, but did not
tour, the Stanley Hotel
_Waffle with strawberries and granola. Mmm.
_Stranded in an airport with Janine Szafranski for two hours.
_FINALLY SEEING JEFF MICKLOS AFTER 5 DAYS!!!!!!!
_Holding Jeff's hand again
_Getting Burritos and going to our spot, which was taken over by children
_Going to Parkway Plaza, where Jeff showed me a super bro store, right next to NOTW.
_ No curfew
_Jamba Juice, where Jessica Isaac works and gives discounts to cool frequent [but not customer of the month] customers and cousins.
_Downtown, the freaks were out. This time, its Twilight Versus Comic-Con. SO MUCH CONFUSION, So many people, too many people. Bad bad costumes and dumb twilight fans who were handed crowns similar to the crowns burger king used to have. COOL.
It was extremely nice leaving my parents [and Colorado] early and spending time with Jeff Micklos because I got to feel independent again, and for a little I got to be free from their wake-up calls and nagging. Most of the time I was on vacation, I was just counting down the days until I got to see Jeff Micklos.
