I know the way.
Yesterday, I went to San Jose..
Kidding, this isn't the freaking Gordon Biersch training manual.BUT there
is a Gordon Biersch in SJ, as well as the SJ Airport..I could smell the
Garlic fries.
SOME SAN JOSE__MOMENTS.
OH GOD
o Being alone with my mom in San Jose.
o If my plane crashed, would I have to share the oxygen mask
with this old man or would he let me take it for myself?
I still have my youth!
o What will my mother say today?
o Half of my headphones decided to stop working.
YEAH!
o First sight of Adobe Corporate Headquarters from a distance.
o Adobe UP CLOSE + Cool Banners! (Almost as cool as the AI
Sticker Jeff Micklos got for me)
o Driving past: Indian, Thai, Frozen Yogurt, Cafe's (+Crepes), and a
brand new cupcake shop.
o Not seeing a single starbucks.
o Cheap vegan food.
o Cafe connected to student library with sandwiches named after books.
o Veggie sandwich called the secret garden + strawberry Italian soda
o Sitting outside next to a pretty library.
o Walking around SJSU
o Nice dorm buildings (-Freshman)
o Realizing that I can bike to any location, like the museum,
grocery store, cupcake place etc..just not the mall.
o EVERYTHING IS SO CLEAN!!
ARE YOU FOR REAL?
o Mothers extremely loud cell phone going off in the museum,then conversing.
o "Eww it looks like a bunch of bodies are stuffed in a box, I don't like that"
o What did you think mom? " I can't stand to look at it, it is all so ugly,
how can people call that art?" blah blah blah..how are you my mother.?
o Mother not wanting to get burritos.
YEAHH NNOOO, NOT COOL
o Pretty buildings on campus, minus freshman dorms
(don't care) and Art Building (care deeply!) Just because art majors
like to paint+ doesn't mean each side of the building has to
be a different color. It should not resemble a shack, in comparison
to other buildings, either.
o First, locals. Second, nor cal. Third, So Cal. Hopefully I can
maintain above a 3.0 these next two semesters.
o If freaking locals an nor cal fill all the slots, I cannot get in!
o Finally after arriving to the cupcake shop, I only had two options,
the case being nearly empty!
Jeff Micklos, I really wanted to bring you home a cup cake, but they
didn't have cool flavors.
o Letting my mom hold the map to find the shopping mall.
Mistake! She lied and told me to get off at the wrong stop,
which resulted in a dangerous walk to the mall. I should have
checked, but I shouldn't have to double check everything she does!
o GAP went all American Apparel.

Bad quality picture for a bad quality building. But I do
judge by how things look, I am sure it is amazing inside.

Still trying to pinpoint what this reminds me of, so far
all I have is an old Fever Sleeve design for a CD cover.
A wolf or bear clawing through the cover..sounds cool, yes?
It wasn't my idea.
Museum of Art. Building behind it looks like a backdrop.
Me with almost Mondrian.
San Jose is no San Francisco, but I think it's a good place. I can Visit SF when I want to see Juan..or if I don't want to see him. I really hope I can get into the school there because I want to experience living outside of my parents house and outside of San Diego. Jeff, I think you may like it here, not as much as SF, of course, but there are some good things.
