Hardly a loss.
Posted on June 23, 2010 by Annie!
The weekend was great, I got to go up to San Francisco and visit Jeff, while looking for an apartment with Juan. Were we successful? NOPE. We got the perfect place snatched from us, which is unfortunate, because I was really happy with the idea of calling the landlord Mr. Rogers. But we both learned to take apply right away, rather than waiting to see what else is out there. Which could end up being terrible at the same time.

SOME GREAT THINGS:
  • Numerous zombies
  • Walking everywhere.
  • Holding hands again.
  • "I work at McDonalds!"
  • Coffee and pastry mornings.
  • Back cracking methods and kicks.
  • Frightening waiters who like to lean.
  • Seeing Jeff's apartment, and staying there.
  • Juan realizing he hated Chinatown (well, except for the woman karaoke-ing)
  •  Hoping to see the place above the doughnut shop, and going back again just in case.
  • Thinking kids are retarded, but are actually playing a combination of freeze-tag and lava.
  • Strawberry gelato with lower cheesecake layer and white chocolate chips sprinkled on top.
  • Witnessing the condition of various apartments, from the stench of gas throughout, to a nice view from the rooftop, and a big disappointment with three doors owned by, Pearl and Larry, who we easily learned to not like. Larry, you will never be Roger.
Coming back home was quiet, but I should go again soon, perhaps this weekend.

Don't tell me you have diabetes..
Posted on June 11, 2010 by Annie!
Looking for places to live is quite the challenge, especially when links expire. I need to be more organized the way I approach the situation, which is partially what I did tonight. I dug though my e-mail, and searched for all the people I had contacted. So far, I have to appointments set in stone. I still have to call four people right before my flight to San Francisco, and figure out a time, because that is what they told me to do. And then that leaves me with two more numbers to call for places that have not responded to me yet. Although, those probably will not be promising.
Then there is the work situation, which I still would love to find a part time receptionist job at an art gallery or something perfect like that.  Fingers crossed I will find something before I start school.

Speaking of before I start school, This is what i've  been up too
+Brothaass BBQ
+Phone call with Jeff!
+Jacuzzi
+Shopping
+Get Him To The Greek
+Nightly phone call with Jeff!
+Sushi
+Craigslisting
+Pokez
+Babysitters club
+Skipping that depressing scene where Kristy goes to meet her father at the carnival at night. Where she thinks she sees him. BUT WAIT, it's just a man that looks like him from behind and then it starts to pour, and she climbs a metal fence to leave and run away because she is sad because HE LIED and HE PROMISED and he really is just another man with scruff who lives in his car, who occasionally makes mouse pancakes when he wants to impress the ladies, so I could talk to jeff for hours!
+Driving in Janines car listening to mates of state, because it has been YEARS.
+Craigslisting with Juan @ the Living Room
+Phone calls with my lovely boyfriend
Ummmmmmmmwhattellse that's pretty much it.
I've been seeing gina and melissa almost ever day, and I'm okay with that.
But I wish I could see jeff more

Keepin Busy.
Posted on June 3, 2010 by Annie!

To keep busy, I am crossing things off my list.

The other day was the most relaxing day. The morning/afternoon included a Massage, lunch, pedicure, and iced coffee. My mom treated me and Janine to lunch and a pedicure, and I treated myself to the massage, because I have been trying to get an appointment, but it never worked out.

Me, Gina, and Janine went gambling, only to loose a few bucks, leaving without a positive cash flow. I'm fine with only loosing a little, I didn't want to get in to deep, I just wanted to cross it off. I would say vending machines filled with cigarettes is the best part, but my favorite machine would definitely be Da Vinci's Diamonds, even if it didn't have a pull lever. Gambling was followed by champaign, strawberry cheesecake, MTV, jacuzzi and a sleepover.

The night carried into the morning, when Gina woke up in my bedroom and ate breakfast with me. A late breakfast was followed by a stroll around the lake, to feel like we were getting fit and exercised. Melissa came with us because she lives in San Diego now! Hung around the pool and eventually got delicious sandwiches from windmill farms. Turkey sandwiches are really delicious and it has been years since I had one.

Yesterday was hot and muggy, already making me dislike summer because it makes me feel gross.

I went to starbucks too, where I drank my tea and hung out on my computer. I always see this older man there, with longish hair and headphones. I think he is probably really cool, but I don't know anything about him other than he smokes, drinks coffee, and sits on his computer all day, traveling from starbucks to the Living Room, because I've seen him there too. I think he is a graphic designer, or web designer. I want to know his story, but I will probably just continue to secretly watch him.

  1. Jacuzzi
  2. Massage
  3. Pedicure
  4. Gambling
  5. Sleepover o
  6. Stroll around the lake
  7. Sandwiches from windmill farms.

o But obviously, the sleepovers and will continue throughout the summer, and we will watch Babysitters Club and play dream phone when Katy is available!

Oh today was the last day I will walk in and out of grossmont College. Helllll yeah! Sent my final transcripts to SFSU..AND I CANNOT WAIT TO VISIT JEFF ON THE 18TH!

What is everyone up to?

Month of May
Posted on May 31, 2010 by Annie!
Yes, it is true, I am finally done, including a lame photography lab final.
I don't want to whine about everything, but i'll just say, don't take 21 units, it's hell
I want to burn "Maydaymayday" which didn't even get used in the end because I was so busy and scatterbrained. But so far I am very pleased with my grades, and am still waiting to hear from history, photography lab, and most importantly, my geography lecture class. Ughhdklsafja.

Oh yeah, it was a major bummer when I had to re-study geography after I took  the final in order to retake two quiz's, but luckily Jeff helped me. Don't worry guys, I know where
Finland, Norway (Beach House), Sweden (IKEA, Radio Dept.) Turkey (istanbul, thanksgiving) Kurdistan, Syria(sly), Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Beirut (Yeah, I know), Sinai Peninsula, Iran, Sri Lanka (MIA)
AND ALL THAT CRAP IS!!
Reason number 1,349,490 reason why my boyfriend is perfect and great, he quiz's me on geography on our Two Year Anniversary so I can still go to SFSU!! Yeah, I said it, Two years. Unfortunately, finals week decided to fall on the date we called each other boyfriend and girlfriend for the first time, but we made sure to have a nice night before we both were able to put the shape to the name.

Oh, Sæglópur sounds really great in my new, well deserved, headphones.

Anyway, here are a few things I've been up to.

Scott had a birthday on May 10th.

Me, cramming for finals, alone in an art room.

But really, I'm gonna miss this art room and it's hugeness.

Janine graduated, she's going to move to Texas to make people healthy. She's also going to get her nails done in the Walmart there. Maybe her hair too.

This summer is going to be strange, but I'm going to cram a lot of things into it and make it good.

Undesired pounding
Posted on May 8, 2010 by Annie!
A divided self needs to be accomplished,
one awake and productive,
the other,
fallen into lethargy, simply sleeps
(preferably for more than three hours.)
But the feeling of a dream does not surpass the pound,
for my muscle decides to wake up and exercise
in order to make up for the lack of I've done.
And I am left worrying,
but at least something is moving,
or, pumping
(sometimes too fast.)

The persistent worries are
somewhat eased by temporary promises of tomorrow,
for they are only used to get through the night.
Tomorrow starts again in a cup.
The line goes down, and I go up.

I keep dreaming
I keep making lists
I keep trying to study
I keep trying to dreaming
I keep making study
I keep dreaming lists
I keep dreamakingttying
AndIkeepIcant

F O C U S

Only 31 boxes formed and bound by deadlines are complete.
I can only feel the dense pound when I want to sleep
I make temporary promises of tomorrow,
just to feel somewhat at ease,
Yet, tomorrow starts again with a cup.
And I know I'll still feel the pound over the dream.

Just finishing the roll

STRESS IS HERE AND IT WON'T LEAVE ME ALONE!!

I'm feeling the wrath of 21 units, and have had a few breakdowns within the past two

weeks. BUT I need to FOCUS so I can get to where I want to go!

SO I am introducing, MAYDAYMAYDAY!

The calender I made (although not finished) with a few missing deadlines and work

schedules. But I only eat schoolwork for dinner, because I eat San Francisco for dessert.

There are a few more calenders to come, although June is just going to be filled with fun

things before I leave (party?) and trips to find a place to live. Anyway, too many things

to do, so little sleep, too much caffeine that I want to rid myself of. I want to Sleep, I

want to see my sisters, I want school to be over, but I want to everything to end well!

The other night marked the third night working on my art history painting. TWO nights

painting with Jeff, and one night painting alone. A little taste of what played at random

during night #3 (I still enjoy some portishead).

And again, I will just say

CONGRATULATIONS!

Making things work.
Posted on April 22, 2010 by Annie!

This weekend wasn't crazy or anything, but I kept busy.

Friday me and Gina went to Jessica's new apartment, where we got a nice laugh at my cousin, who was the only drunk one in the ARGUMENT/conversation room, sitting in a closet making no sense. NO SENSE was before fever sleeves, BTW.  Juan was there too, that was cool!

Saturday SUCKED at first, because it was humid and gross and no one was home and no one could go with me to M-Theory, so I just said EFFF everyone and went. I had a good time, and I stayed there longer than I expected. I made a new friend, who made the really awesome fever sleeves music video:

Seriously, it's cool.

I got a free RUNAWAYS shirt, so now I have a new shirt to add to the  "Kickin it cool around the house" collection.

Listened to music.

Rob Crow from Pinback was there.

Got coffee with my bros.

Left and got a burrito.

I like M-Theory days.

And I want a nice set of big headphones so I can block out the noise, while I'm listening to good music. My ipod headphones don't quite cut it.

Sunday: was beautiful, and I had to work most of the day. Boo.

Monday: Got to see JEFF finally, he wore lipstick and we got CBW and jamba juice, then I went back to school, and he went home and took a nap.

Monday night I finally got to paint!

[RANT] ahhh it felt so nice! And I realized it's going to be hard sharing a room, if thats what it comes down to, when I move away. Who will want to share rooms with a girl who has art supplies everywhere and stays up until ridiculously late hours of the night!? I HAVE NO IDEA! And sometimes I just need my freaking solitude, and I feel like I won't get that once I move away. SO I need to start looking on craigslist for bigger apartments or maybe a small, but big enough, house. Nothing is set yet, I don't know who I am officially going to be living with, there is talk of Juan and Melissa, but they don't know each other yet, and we haven't talked about it in a while, we'll see[END RANT]

All I'm gonna say, is my painting is going to be tight, and I have a matching paper to go along with it, for my english class. I think I am going to call the combination "The Jesus and Mary Who?" and "The Jesus and Mary What?" ahh Who Knows?

+small thoughs+

Anyway, I made a small mix because I listened to a little different music than I usually do. I used to listen to either radiohead or sigur ros, but I wasn't feeling all serious at the time, so this is what my last.fm showed me.

Missing my boyfriend!!
